Fill your plate!

Draw a group of concentric circles on the ground. The center circle is worth x10, the next x9, the next x8, etc.

Decide how much your pebble is worth (the multiplication table you want to practice).

Each person stands outside the circles and throws his pebble in. He calls out the question (the value he decided for the pebble times the value of the ring in which it lands) and answer. Answers can be checked by using a multiplication chart, answer sheet, or calculator.

This activity can simply be used to practice the facts, or can be a competitive game by aiming for the higher multiplication facts. The highest answer, if correct, wins!
