| | Have fun creating and exploring 3-dimensional geometric structures.
Connect toothpicks, using plasticene to make sides longer and to form corners, making cubes, pyramids and prisms of various sizes. (Larger structures can be created using straws and plasticene or rolled up newspaper cylinders joined at the corners with tape.)
These geometric shapes can then be linked together, making interesting and complex structures. Or, you might like to display them as mobiles, arranging and hanging them from wire bases or coat hangers.
